Lisa Colón DeLay

Lisa Colón DeLay is a Puertorican-born author, broadcaster, teacher, and spiritual companion who centers her projects on spiritual formation. Her first book “The Wild Land Within” was published by Broadleaf Books in 2021. It offers insights into our unseen interior world where memories, wounds, fears, hopes, and potential reside; and features historically marginalized perspectives.

Through her agent Keely Boeving at WordServe Literary, she is partnering with publisher Broadleaf Books again for her second book  Enticed: The Eight Afflicting Thoughts That Plague Us— And How Desert Spirituality Can Set Us Free with that features the lives and wisdom of the spiritual Fathers and Mothers from the all too forgotten Desert Movement Era of Christianity (circa 300-800 CE). The invaluable insights on spiritual practices and the eight “afflicting thoughts” from these Desert Elders move us toward faithfulness, virtue, and freedom from the vices we continue to struggle with in our time.
