Laura Dennis is a blogger, speaker, and creator of the popular blog Almostemptynest.net. She started her blog on a whim, but in six years it has grown to over 7,000 subscribers who read her weekly newsletter News from the Nest. She adds hundreds of new subscribers each month. Through her blog and newsletter, she uplifts, inspires, and empowers women who are transitioning from a full nest to an empty nest so that they are able to let go, find their way, and celebrate their empty nest. She also provides resources for college preparation and helping parents have a positive relationship with their adult children.
Laura has an accounting degree from Abilene Christian University and has been married to her college sweetheart, Brent, for twenty-nine years. Together they have successfully launched three children into the world. They are active members of the Park Church of Christ in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
