Kevin Graham Ford

Kevin, a popular keynote speaker and author, is Chief Catalyst for Leighton Ford Ministries.

 

Kevin has published six books.  His most recent, Attentive Church Leadership… Listening and Leading in a World We’ve Never Known (IVP, 2024), was the #1 new release in Christian Leadership and #2 overall in that Amazon category.  Transforming Church (Tyndale, 2007 and David C Cook – paperback, 2008 ) remains a popular book among Christian leaders and seminaries.  The Secret Sauce:  Creating a Winning Culture (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2015) was Amazon’s #1 new release in human resources.  Prior to that, The Leadership Triangle (Morgan James Publishing), was an Amazon best-seller (#2 Business/Teams) in 2014.

 

Kevin was the co-founder of TAG Consulting, which he and his partners sold in 2019.  INC Magazine listed TAG among America’s fastest growing companies, ranked in the top 100 in their industry for several years.  Kevin’s expertise includes visioning, strategy, organizational change, talent engagement, and leadership development.  Kevin received the 2002 National Leadership Award (awarded by a U.S. congressional committee) and he served as the Honorary Chairman of the Business Advisory Council for Virginia that same year.  While Kevin has enjoyed a successful business career, his passion has always been for ministry.  He has consulted with hundreds of pastors and churches throughout North America.  He is also the chief architect of the Transforming Church Insight, a survey of churches that includes over 11 million records in its database.

 

Kevin has facilitated the development of over 500 strategic plans throughout North America.  He was the senior consultant for the Redesign of the U.S. Army Staff — the largest employer in the nation.  His clients included large federal agencies, Fortune 500s, small businesses, non-profits and churches.  He has been quoted extensively in the press and has appeared on dozens of business-related television and radio programs.  Interviews and quotes have included the Washington Post, Forbes, Los Angeles Times, Entrepreneur, Management Review, Employment Review, Business Week, Financial Services Marketing, Wall Street Journal, Human Resource Executive, and HR Today.

 

Kevin earned a BA from the University of North Carolina and his Master of Divinity from Regent College at the University of British Columbia.  He has spoken publicly to thousands of people around the world and is in constant demand as a facilitator and speaker for various corporations and organizations.  He has spoken at conferences along with Jim Collins, Margaret Wheatley, Herb Keller, Peter Senge.  He has served on the Board of Directors for Washington University of Virginia and the Leighton Sandys Ford Scholarship Fund.

 

Kevin and Caroline split their time between Charlotte and Linville NC and have two adult daughters, Anabel and Leigh.
