Dr. Kelly Edmiston is a pastor, preacher, Bible professor, and writer. She serves as the lead pastor at the Vineyard Church of Sugar Land, a multiethnic community in Stafford, Texas. She has pastored in churches both internationally and domestically for seventeen years and teaches college students Bible courses at Abilene Christian University and Houston Christian University. Kelly studied social work and obtained her master of divinity from Abilene Christian University, earning the Graduate School of Theology leadership award in 2019.
She holds a doctor of ministry in leadership and spiritual formation from Portland Seminary. With years of pastoral ministry experience, Kelly brings a pastor’s heart to sensitive topics. Whether in a classroom, from the pulpit, or through her writing, Kelly is a dynamic and compassionate communicator with a no-nonsense approach to topics that the church has historically been silent on. She offers humor, grit, and just enough sass as a spiritual guide to a generation of parents looking for wisdom on how to engage with their kids on topics related to sexuality. Her own life is deeply rooted in family, shared with her husband, Ben, and their three children.
