Lavender Vroman is a writer, editor, and former journalist, film critic, and pop culture blogger. Her first graphic novel, Not Death, But Love: The Strange, Supernatural Story of Elizabeth Barrett Browning launches Sept. 22, 2026. Created with illustrator Joshua Kemble, the book originated as a screenplay Lavender researched while majoring in English literature at University of California, Santa Barbara. She lives in Southern California with her husband, daughter, and a pug named Sugar Cookie. Her hyperfixations include Star Wars, pop culture, and books of all kinds — especially romance, comics, fantasy, and science fiction.
