Tim Smith

Family Coach, speaker, author and President of Life Skills for American Families, Timothy Smith enjoys enpowering others to discover and apply effective life skills.

Tim is a Research Fellow with the George H. Gallup International Institute of Princeton and his popular book, The Seven Cries of Today’s Teens is based on exclusive data from Gallup. His recent books and seminars include Connecting with Your Kids: How Fast Families Can Move from Chaos to Closeness and his bestseller, The Danger of Raising Nice Kids: Preparing Our Children to Change Their World.

He is probably best known for his humorous and practical presentations to thousands each year for parents, married couples and men. His speaking clients include the National Football League; Clear Channel Communications; The Cleveland Clinic; Pepperdine University; and other nationally known corporations and institutions, including numerous churches and schools (both public and private).

A radio commentator and experienced guest for the media, he has done hundreds of interviews. His seventeen books include: The Relaxed Parent, Family Traditions, Letters to Nicole and Life Skills for Guys, and READY! A Girl’s Guide to Life.

In his free time, he enjoys surfing. Married to Suzanne for thirty years, they have two grown daughters.
