Shelley Kinder is the author of the picture books Not So Scary Jerry and The Masterpiece, both published by Clear Fork Publishing, and the upcoming God and Me at the Sea (Kregel). Her books have been positively reviewed in Kirkus, Booklist, Midwest Book Review, Foreword Reviews, and others. She has also written articles on parenting and family issues for regional magazines.
Shelley lives in Indiana with her husband and four children. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ball State University and Master’s Degrees in College Student Affairs (Grand Valley State University, 2002) and Agency Counseling (Rhode Island College, 2007). Shelley has been a stay-at-home mom since 2008, when her first son was born. Besides writing, she enjoys photography, worship music, reading, art projects, stock market trading, and family time.
