Christy Award winnter

Jill Hubbard and Ginny McCabe’s book The Secrets Young Women Keep (Thomas Nelson, August 2008) was named a Gold Medallion finalist in the “Children’s and Youth” category. This is a nice honor. Way to go!

Very Special Announcement!

Susie Shellenberger, a name that is known to hundreds of thousands of young ladies around the world, is starting a brand new venture. As a longtime Greg Johnson client (nearly 15 years) and friend (we wrote 9 books together in the 90’s), it was a sad day when Focus on the Family decided to ax teen ministry, including Brio Magazine (and Breakaway, the magazine Greg founded).

But from the ashes has come a wonderful thing.

SUSIE…the NEW Magazine for teen girls!

Susie has decided to launch a brand-new magazine that's more relevant, more splashy, and more determined to meet girls where they are today.

Tentative plans are that SUSIE mag will debut its premiere print issue this May. As an international speaker and an author who has sold more than 1.3 million books, Susie is excited about continuing ministry to girls on a new level.

SHAMELESS PROMOTION ALERT!!!!

Greg’s wife, Becky, collaborated with Neurotherapist Dr. Earl Henslin for a book called This is Your Brain on Joy (Thomas Nelson Publishers). It comes with a Foreword by Dr. Daniel Amen (of the PBS special “Change Your Brain, Change Your Life”).

Dr. Henslin is one of the only Christian therapists to daily integrate SPECT brain imaging with traditional therapy.  The results have been phenomenal. His clients reach faster, lasting, significant change much more thoroughly than ever before.  The book is written in a fun, easy-to-comprehend, warm and engaging style, offering help for the Five Mood Issues every human being will face in themselves or someone they love. Earl says, “I think it will broaden our compassion and understanding of ourselves, our families and the people in the pews who struggle with mood issues and the guilt that accompanies our internal anguish.”

Using everything from prayers, thoughts, movies (cinema-therapy), nutrition, exercise, supplements, aromatherapy, and suggestions for medications that could be helpful -- this book is reader-friendly a reference book that every pastor, counselor and lay person will want to have on their shelf.

God is with me through the day
