Greg Johnson worked for nine years as a literary agent before starting his own agency in 2003. He has represented more than 1,500 books and negotiated more than 1,000 contracts to over sixty different publishing houses. These works included adult trade books (non-fiction and fiction), children’s books, specialty Bibles, movie options, video curricula, audio products, gift books, and greeting cards.
Highlights of his authors' achievements include:
• 50+ ECPA “Gold Medallion” nominees, 10 winners
• 8 “Christy Award” (for fiction) nominees, 2 winners
• 200+ different best-selling books (in the CBA) that made nearly 1,000+ appearances on the various lists, with more than 40 reaching #1 status.
• Negotiated more than $30 million in total value of contracts
Before working with authors, Greg wrote 23 non-fiction books and more than 200 magazine articles. He worked for five years as founding editor for "Breakaway" magazine, and spent ten years working full time with Campus Life in the Pacific Northwest.
Greg is married to Becky who works closely with him in evaluating authors and their manuscripts. Together they have six adult children, five sons and a daughter, along with two grandsons. The Johnson's make their home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
