Children's book author, marketing writer, volunteer, speech-language pathologist, nurturer, worrier, doer, giver. Many titles have been given to Julie Cantrell throughout her three (plus) decades on this planet.
If you ask her who she is, the answer is easy. She is first and foremost a mother, blessed to have two shining beams of light who brighten her world every day.
Julie wrote God Is with Me through the Day and God Is with Me through the Night to help her own children overcome fears such as separation anxiety and nightmares while building their trust in God.
The published versions are geared for preschool and kindergarten aged children, and they include entertaining photos of animals that kids seem to love.
Julie hopes these books provide your family enough stories, snuggles, and smiles to last a lifetime!
Julie's children's books, God Is with Me through the Day and God Is with Me through the Night, were released March 1, 2009 by Zondervan. Her first novels, Into the Free and When Mountains Move, will be released by David C. Cook publishers in 2012 and 2013.
Julie is the editor-in-chief of Southern Literary Review and also maintains a blog for parents, teachers, and children's ministers.
