Joe Wheeler
Joe Wheeler has been called “The Keeper of the Story.” One of the most prolific story anthologizers in America today, Joe earned a Masters in History from Pacific Union College, a Masters in English from Sacramento State University, and Ph.D. in English (emphasis: History of Ideas) from Vanderbilt University. He has chaired English and Communication departments in colleges in three states. He is Founder and Executive Director of the Zane Grey's West Society, and is considered to be the world's foremost authorities on the life and times of frontier writer, Zane Grey. He and his wife Connie live today in Conifer, Colorado, and have two grown children, Greg and Michelle, as well as two grandchildren.
