John Shore
John Shore is the author of "Penguins, Pain and the Whole Shebang: Why I Do the Things I Do," by God (as told to John Shore), and co-author of Comma Sense, each of which won a 2006 San Diego Book Award (for, respectively, Best Spirituality/Religion and Best How To/Reference). A resident of San Diego, John has worked as an editor and/or writer for San Diego Magazine, The San Diego Union-Tribune, The San Diego Weekly Reader, and San Diego’s public broadcasting station, KPBS. He has also published fifteen short stories in little literary magazines all over the country. His new book, I’m OK—You’re Not: The Message We’re Sending Unbelievers, and Why We Should Stop will be out from NavPress in Winter ’07. He is currently co-authoring a book with Steve Arterburn to be published by Bethany House in Winter ’08.
